Question Table Contents on Switchboard

Hi,
I'm looking to display the contents of a field on my switchboard page. I have tried using expression builder to call up the contents using a text box and a combo box. All I get is a blank cell with the contents on the selection of the combo box or just blank with the text box containing "Name". Does anyone have any ideas how I can achieve this?

Use a DLookUp function as the control source or the textbox.

However if you want to display data on a switchboard it is often better to use a form with a recordsource for that data.

A switchboard is really just a form whose recordsource has been commandeered to store the information for automatically generating buttons. They are quick and dirty but no substitute for a well designed Master form with a record source contributing imortant information about the system.
