Ya know what? I hate Access too.

I hate that for what it does, it is still the best product around for the price and its range of abilities.

I hate that when Borland converted Paradox from DOS to Windows, they screwed the pooch on event management.

I hate that you can do so much with an Access Front End to another backend.

I hate that it has to run on Windows, which is sort of like making a sandwich out of Bill Gates products.

I hate that older versions of Access (including some still at my site) use MDAC, which is the #2 SANS Institute threat/risk for network data sharing.

If it weren't that everything else I've seen so far is worse, I would never use it again.

Other than that, it's great!

And besides, an occasional rant is good for the soul.
