I somehow suspect my second example in post 32 may be too obscure.
For info, late 1960s Scottish cult folk band who found Scientology and lost their audience soon after

I have plenty more obscure than that but like almost all so far, its obvious when you see the answer.

BTW does anyone have any knowledge of the reMarkable tablet?

Hmmm, so I'm not disqualified for Googling it? After I posted that I thought maybe I should not have. Not sure of the rules here.
I have one ready if it's my turn.

Well NG got the band by googling with my clues so why not. Nobody was going to get it without assistance.
Go for it.

OK, I'll say it should be easy enough, but it's really only easy when you're the one posting the quiz.

Well, that was too easy. I guess musical taste is selective, but with over dozens of gold and platinum albums and a world wide following, I'm surprised you never heard of it.
IMO, Neil Peart was a fantastic lyricist (and a published book writer) and a local boy too.

No, his mind is not for rent
To any god or government.
Always hopeful, yet discontent
He knows changes aren’t permanent –
But change is

Next time I'll try to dig a little deeper.

Sorry for having obscure musical tastes but AFAIK I've never heard any songs by Rush though I have heard of the band.

OK hopefully easier this time but I said that before...
