I have visited a few other forums, but I have learned the most from this site and have tried to return the favor to users here as well. Someone recommended this site to me and I passed it along to someone else. I am VERY glad it is here to stay.
I agree that a new Topic of Terms is a good idea. If you add it, maybe it should be near the General topic area in the list. The first time I needed to do a cascading combo box, I did not know what it was called and so I searched in vain. If the terms were tied into a particularly good example, then maybe new users would search BEFORE posting and find their answer.
I would not have time to compete in a contest. I like the idea of posting databases for other programmers, but wonder how that affects others who make their livelihood out of ceating them? Hopefully, the programmer using the code would give credit to the supplier and reduce the price to the end user, too.
