Looks like the UK supreme court ruling about "what is a woman?" will stir up a bit of controversy.
Just to nit-pick the law isn't new - just the existing one clarified, so it's already in effect.Once the new UK laws go into effect, we'll probably have to permanently ban Colin since he can't control himself or Jon will end up getting fined for Colin's hateful remarks.

Two points. It's not narrow as it is the only applicable law. Secondly the answer to your question is yes (unfortunately). A Gender Recognition Certificate costs £6 .When I read the decision it appeared to me to be a very narrow finding which only applied to the definition in that particular Act of 2010. Do you guys have some sort of a "gender certificate" for trans people?
