I have done this atleast 77 times, and I haven't had a problem until now. I am trying to import data from an excel spreadsheet, but when select the file I want, all it does is give me the hour glass for a few seconds, and then returns me to my original screen. The questions that normally come up on the screen aren't appearing anymore. Did I make my computer mad, by overworking it or am I just going crazy. Thank you for your help in this matter!

Either there is a problem with your Excel file or your PC's system resources are really low and you need to reboot your PC to restore your PC's system resources.
Weird things happen with Access when the PC's system resources are low!
