time stamp sync

is there a way to have the time stamp checked off the server so that the user cant change the local comp time to have false tickets.

Jason,

This has caused me some problems before, even
unintentionally, there can be a great difference
in the times (years!) on people's pcs.

I do know that there are approved websites that
will provide the correct time. You could have
the users get that before starting your db.
If I can find out where, I'll post.

Another alternative might be to have a table in
your db that has the correct time. You would
have to have a process running on the server,
using the timer event, to keep it up-to-date.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more
response to this as it is a common problem.
