Question Time to move to A2007?

Yes I'm well aware of Allen's list of Access 2007 bugs.
I don't really see how it relates to my comment of "There haven't been two particularly buggy releases in a row before"

2007 has bug issues - 2003 didn't.
Ok, I get you now. I may have misread :)

I also am assuming that flashing tab controls doesn't rank as a bug ;)

Maybe (and I hope I am). But ... (to paraphrase a friend! .. ROFL) ... I didn't see you at the 2008 Summit, so you missed the stuff I would be talking about ... so the depths of the vision discussed in '08 may have gone farther than you think ... ROFL! ... {just a little ribbing born out of jealously the I could not attend and you did!}

If the Ribbon Interaction has not improved... for example: context sensitivity and setting the focus on the Ribbon that is needed for the object selected, or presenting a Group that is pertinent for the object selected... And if the Nav Pain remains disconnected from the Ribbon and a pain to manage ... then to me it is still lacking is user approachability. Plus, if an on board visual designer of custom Ribbons is not present, then, again it creates a sense of needing to "catch up" to previous versions.

Thats all for now! ...

{Again ... I hope you do know that my "ribbing" is good natured and spoken with humor!}

but George did attend the 2008 Summit and based on what he's told me, there are changes.

Can't say any more as it is under NDA. And if given the opportunity to see anymore, I don't plan on doing it. I'm not going to participate in any betas in the future and am going to be canceling my current Connect items (such as Office 2007 SP2) as I would rather not know if something is coming than to know and not be able to say anything that would help anyone or give them hope. It is too painful.

Awesome!!! ... I hope they are worth that anticipation!

>> It is too painful <<

I understand!
