For many years I have been required by by motor insurers to fit a tracker device to my cars. This is because I buy expensive motor vehicles and a tracker permits the police to locate the vehicle if it is stolen.
During this time I have found all the tracker firms to be utterly incompetent and only capable of offering a third rate level of service. However, touch wood, I have not actually had a car stolen. I do, though, wonder at just how professional a service I may expect from a tracker firm IF one of my cars is
stolen.
Does anyone have any first hand experience of a tracker fitted car be nicked ?
And what is their opinion of the competence of the tracker firm ?
