Trouble Designing Switchboard

Using the Switchboard Manager I created a switchboard form. I don't have very many options on it and it was, at first, very long and mostly blank. I finally got it to shrink down but it doesn't resize automatically when I change to different switchboards (they don't all have the same number of options). I attached a picture of what I'm dealing with. I'm using a continuous form by default.

Is there a way I can get it to automatically resize or fill in the white space between the Detail and Form Footer sections?

Easier to use unbound forms with buttons on it. The switchboard is ugly and hard to customize. Of course, if it works for you, to each his own.
