Trump Administration Predictions (2 Viewers)

It appears that some leaders in Europe are patting themselves on the back. Presumably after seeing Starmer ingratiate himself by toadying up to
DLT on TV with his invite from King Charles. Starmer was seen in the UK as an appeasing lackey and somewhat embarrassing.
Is this sort of thing DLT's Achilles' heel?

In order to impress the NATO organisation maybe Starmer showed them photos of other organisations that he has supported.

An interesting article, as I've heard so much hoo-hah about this "alligator alcatraz", and I wanted to see for myself:
What are the arguments 'against' it? Are they serious points?

What I found out, after reading a very liberal, anti-Trump newspaper the Guardian, is that there really is nothing about this camp that's inhumane, wrong, bad, degrading, etc.

It's set up as a series of major tents, similar to hurricane evacuees experience, and inside the tents are medical services, obviously food, and air conditioning units.

So it's set in an area known for having alligators (which btw most of Florida has them, they're in everyone's backyards). So what?

Can anyone explain further to me why putting immigrants temporarily detained in this facility specifically as opposed to other facilities is psychological torture, or anything close?

5000 people. In tents. In Florida, during hurricane season.
What could possibly go wrong.

It's not that uncommon to house people in tents. In Maricopa county one of the biggest counties in the United States, the jail system was made entirely of sophisticated tents.

Of course the word tent can be said in a way that makes it sound extremely rudimentary, but a so-called tent can also be very sophisticated and a reasonable place to live from the shelter if inside you have food bathroom facilities and air conditioning.

As for hurricane season that's a new one I haven't heard before. I guess that would apply to detention centers in probably 20 states

Offering to self-deport (assuming they can) may be a viable alternative to staying in tents in Florida during hurricane season.

It's not a five star hotel like they're used to.

The Democrats are guilty of psychological torture for encouraging mass illegal immigration, knowing that these individuals will eventually be told to leave.
I think they came for the Jobs. It's just one of the parties read the Nazi books on how to blame a certain group of people for all of their own personal failings. And a guy at the top that learned how to use that to create racial hatred. Then he pretends to be a patriot.

Great tasting cool aid. eh
Although, I don't disagree with the bombing of the nuclear facilities in Iran. They have a proven track record of wanting the total destruction of both Israel and the US, unlike our Mexican brothers and sisters, that come here to work.

It's not that I disagree. I say you are all brainwashed. You shouldn't put words in my mouth. I read some (quite a bit actually) of the Nazi text. Long before Social Media, I saw the similarities between Conservative propaganda and Nazi messaging. I didn't need any talking heads telling me how, or what, to think.
I read about the rise of modern conservatism decades ago. How after Goldwater got trounced, and the Nixon Republicans had to change the message. Then I watched the Conservatives infiltrate the Churches. Long ago I warned of single issue voting, and look what is has gotten us.

A divided nation.

And I saw the Dems doing what they needed to do to empower the Nazis on the right. They got their 30 pieces of silver for that though. But unlike you, I don't think the evil is all one party. That is your brainwashed message. Wake up. You're smarter than that.

It all comes down to one thing, Citizens United. If we got rid of that, we would begin to become a nation again.

You shouldn't put words in my mouth.

Considering the distasteful words you are putting in our ears (figuratively, at least?)

In the context of hurricanes and alligators and the Florida immigrant detention center being tents: The New Orleans jail that was in the news for a 10-person jailbreak wasn't a tent. It was just a sub-standard building, not more than about 10 years old, that was already crumbling - partly because most state and federal bid laws give preference to low pricing. Would you want to ride on a NASA rocket that you knew was built by the lowest bidder? Would you want to have open-heart surgery in an operating room furnished by the lowest bidder? The detention center will probably lead to a variation on a Gulf Coast saying: It's hard to remember you were trying to escape when you are up to your ass in alligators.
