I'm trying to find a complete Bible (any free version) in Access format.

I found a few links but they point to a download from Simtel,
which just shut down about 2 weeks ago.

Anyone here to help me out?

Thanks

I don't know of a Bible in Access, but Logos is my favorite software Bible resource center. ;)

What are you trying to do? Access is a database. How would you expect the bible to be stored in a table? Would each record be a verse?

Yes Pat, that is the idea.

A few years ago I had a table containing all verses. I was going to turn it into a searchable database for a friend but I can't find the mdb file anywhere.
Must have deleted it by mistake.

I know there is ready to go software for the same purpose.

I think there is much better ways of doing Bible Study than in Access. Such as in Logos and others where every WORD is digitized and searchable.

I think that's far more useful than verses or phrase. And many good programs do that very cost effective. In fact the apps are free for many phone models.

The reason I wanted it in Access format is so I can use it for a complete application including the ability for the user to add notes etc. This is a request from the person I want to get it for.

There are other tools, I know, but that's not what I'm looking for.
