two questions design visibily and calculations

OK Question one:

I have 2 ActiveX calenders in a form and in design view I cant see anything else because the calenders are in the way is there a way to hide things in design view?

Question 2:

I have 2 fields in my form which states how many days holiday an employee has had and one which states how many they have left. Currently these fields are manual but I would like it so it took the number of days the employee has taken from the total holiday allowance (16 days) and returned the remaining days automatically.

1. Select the calendars and goto Format -> Send To Back.

That's the best you'll be able to do in that respect.

2. Put a textbox on your form with the expression, changing the names to the the other textboxes on your form.

=[Allowance] - [Taken]
