I have simple search form using InString, when I run it on my computer (Access 2000, Win98) it works fine, there is no problem with running the db on A2000 Runtime, the problem occurs when I try to run it on A2003, XP, I get the following: Enter the value of parameter [Formulare]![frm_Haupt_Material]![Such_Dat]

Obviously I am using such querry:

InStr([Indeks];[Formulare]![frm_Haupt_Material]![Such_Dat])

And it's not a problem of missing refernces, I've already checked that.

Any help would be great.

Thnx

Mark

Almost invariably, when you see this message: "Enter the value of parameter ...", Access thinks something is not defined. So it considers that thing to be a parameter and asks for it.

Check the spelling of the object you wanted to reference and the argument to the INSTR to assure that you didn't have a letter transposed or garbled somehow during the transition to the new server. Such things have happened before, sad to say.

Yep, you were right, one letter was missing :-)

Thanks for that

Regards

Mark
