Question Unrecognized database format

Hi,

I have access97, however i am not able to open the database which is created in 2000 or later. please suggest me how can i open the database in 97.

You will need someone with a later version of Access to convert it to the ac97 format for you.

Access is able to detect future releases, be realistic did you actually think that Access 97 would be able to open a version created using a later release. As I suspect you are still trying to get into your password protected mdb, as per your other posts.

Even if Access 97 did open it what were you expecting to do with it?
