UPDATE DATA FROM LINKED EXCEL (1 Viewer)

I am trying to create a button on a main menu form that when clicked on will automatically update all data of several linked tables (location of raw data is a single excel workbook with each table being represented by its own excel tab sheet. I know it can be done with a button per table/tab but is there a way to do all tables/tabs with just one command button.

or is there a way to have all of the data update automatically as soon as the access db is opened.

You can have the button do multiple things by simply adding all the tasks within the same code block.

I figured that and tried it but I am guessing I am not combining them in the correct way so would i created private subs for each or keep them all in the same one

You can keep them all in one, but you'll have to test each piece separately.
