I'm (as usual) a bit confused.
We see snippets of news that some US government workers are on strike and have been for a few weeks This has caused a major problem in the US as some museums have been closed. (Yawn) big deal. Obviously this causes major disruption in the USA!
Then we see that those same people are getting free food handouts as presumably they're not getting paid.
What are they hoping to achieve by this action? I'm guessing that most Americans haven't noticed any difference.
From what I see on the telly, they are shooting themselves in the foot as the only people to suffer are themselves.
