Question User group security

Hi,

I have created an access database. This database will be used by multi users. I have created various users and given password to access the same. When this database is accessed by various users from their systems, they are able to login without the user and password dialog. Please help me how to change the settings so that every user will be able to login with his user ID and password.

Unfortunately this mean that you did not properly apply the User Level Security secure the database.

Since this is a multiuser database, be sure that you split it AFTER you apply the security.

If you're using .mdb, yes. If you're using .accdb, then no because .accdb no longer supports ULS security. 2007 is capable of administering either; you just have to the right file version.
