Using a Report as a letter template - cant get the fields to line up with the text!

Just like the title says to be honest lol.
I've made a template up to send out to our clients in the shape of a letter. e.g. a field for their

title, first name, surname
address 1
address 2

etc etc. The problem is where I have put information in such as..

Dear mr simpson

the 'mr simpson' part is either below the 'Dear' or above it - it is not exactly in line with the text and it is quite silly looking!

Any ideas you guys ?
 
Turn on the design grid and lock everything to it.

Alternatively, just make the salutation line a concatenation of the the fields you need, as in:

OpeningField = "Dear " & [SalutationFieldName] & " " & [LastNameField] & ","
