Hi,
Could someone please help me with streamlining Northwind DB for my use? I imported some of the queries and setup similar tables and imported all of the modules/macros. But I only need to be able to enter customers, products and order. I don't need the whole inventory, shippers, purchase orders part.

But now when I go to do something like add a new order, some things don't work, like selecting a customer. ex. when I try to add a new order and select the customer drop down arrow I get the message "The record source '~sq_cOrder Details~sq_cCustomer ID' specified on this form or report does not exist." Or if I want to view an invoice, it wants shipping information.

Maybe I should cut out some of the macros/modules but don't know enough to do that correctly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Alia

Alia,
Unfortunately, the whole inventory, shippers, purchase orders part parts are integrated into the rest of it.

I would recommend that you NOT try to remove them. Just do not use them is you do not need this at this time. In the future, if you need the extra functions, they will already be their.

I would not delete or cut out anything! This normally causes a lot more issues.

It is possible to set the visible property to False for controls on forms and reports that you do not need at this time. This will make them appear to be removed, but probably will not cause anything to "break"
