On a form, I have textboxes that reference fields in another table. Out of nowhere, I now noticed that they are no longer correctly showing the values, but instead have this #Name?

Does this just happen at random to anybody else? I know I must have done something, but I didnt.

Thanks for the help.

Brady

How are these textboxes getting their values, if from a query then I'd check your query criteria. If the values are from lookups, then your DLookup expression(s) may be incorrect somewhere
Failing that, they may be trying to fetch values/records that don't exist

I agree with DavidAtWork. It's possible you have changed the names(fields/aliases..) of something after creating the form.

Ok...I will keep looking. I think I'll go back to one of my backups to see what has changed. I just didn't think I deleted anything that had to do with this form.

Thanks

Just found out that it says 'the control has a reference to itself.' Again, I have no idea what I would have changed to have this happen. I was reading a lil bit about it, but not sure how I would still fix this. These are all textboxes with the Dlookup function.

Is this form being used to create new transaction records or do you select a transaction from a list and you expect to see all these fields populated from a transaction table. Just want to understand what you're trying to do here
