Variable linking of files

Hi guys

I'm trying to create a master s/sheet that will populate data from any number of other s/sheets. I want the user to pick a store number on the master, and excel lookup data from a matching different file.

I've tried saying ='C:\My Documents\'&c2&'.xls' but it doesn't work.

Any help please?

Fixed It

Ok - fixed it using the indirect() function.
