Vary the Size of Cells

I have a spreadsheet that contains a series of tables, one on top of the other. The tables on top need more cell space, then the tables below (i.e. the table on top needs column B be to be 25 pt but that is way too big for the table below, which only needs about 10 pt). My manager does not want the text wrapped in the top tables. Is there a way to make certain cells in a column one size and other cells another size?

You size columns and rows not cells so the answer is no

How about merging cells in the upper table to make it large enough? That would allow you to have smaller cell size in the lower tables.
