I have a few applications written in VB can the code from these be used in Access?

Depends, do you still have much development to do? If its finnished I would be inclinded to move to VB.Net, if not Access..

Do you mean move the whole project over to VB.NET?

The current setup is a MySQL back end with an access front end. It is using an ODBC connector.

I am not sure where to begin with connecting VB.NET with SQL I have not had that much experience with VB.

If you set up the interface for COM Interop, then yes, at least for libraries, or maybe dialog forms. Don't expect anything like controls or forms, though.

I uploaded a sample among with some information on how to set it up.

Are you following me? ;)

I will have a look at your sample. As for the other MySQL external IP problem from the other thread I have decided just to move the SQL box to the datacentre with an IP that can be accessed from the office and externally. :)

Nah, just saw '.NET" in title and knew I had an answer for it. ;)

Glad to hear that you found a satisfactory solution. :)
