No, it's called freedom of choice, do you get that choice over there?

Yes, oh and by the way the two are not mutually exclusive.

What a load of hogwash, I run down Bliar and many aspects of my own country too, like I said elsewhere, read some more of my posts before jumping in with a typical American response.

What's hogwash? What I said or your lame defense of how you act here. You do say something about Blair and your country, occasionally, but no where near the "typical American" remarks that come out of your mouth. Look above you did it in this post.

Didn't you do maths (or is it math ?) at school, it stands to reason I'm going to make more posts regarding Americans, there's more of you:rolleyes:

What does stand to reason is there is more about the USA that you dislike and that would be the reason for more post.:p

You're putting words into my mouth:rolleyes:
and why aren't you off getting ready to celebrate smugglers day, or whatever it is you call it?

Smugglers day? We do have a holiday tomorrow. We celebrate our independence from some greedy squatters, that were here a couple hundred years ago. They left and went on to conquer half the world and then later loose a large portion of it and today you just see them lecturing other folks on how they have learned from their past and are now in a position to tell everyone they should be thinking and acting like them.:D (or at least some of them do)

Unless I'm missing something obvious, you're all squaters
I assume of course you're referring to the native Indians, who you tossed aside 'cause they were in your way, nothing's changed today then

They left and went on to conquer half the world and then later loose a large portion of it

We didn't loose anything, we went on to create the Commonwealth which accounts for about a third of the worlds population.
They thank us for giving them education and justice, what does 'nam, Iran, Iraq etc., have to be thankful to the US for?

and if you'd listened to them you wouldn't have made so many **** ups in the past 50yrs

No, "I" didn't toss them aside. European's settled here, so there is a good chance that it was "your" relatives that came here and tossed them aside. One thing is for sure, it was your countrymen that did. I'm just a decendant of your countrymen. Guess that would make us equally as guilty or innocent, besides that was a long time ago.

Your right and I'll bet when your fore fathers showed up, uninvited. Killed and took over their country, they were so happy to see you show up.

boy, I know that's right. It's amazing that we have made it for 200 plus years not having your counsel.

No it wasn't, I'm not Germanic

They didn't know who we were and welcomed us with open arms and like I said, the vast majority of them still see us as their friends

It's amazing that we have made it for 200 plus years not having your counsel.
Depends on how you define made it

Germanic? Are you suggesting that the folks who came here and settled this country were German?

My God, your schooling leaves more to be desired than even I knew:eek:

The largest ethnic group of European ancestry is German at 15.2 percent, followed by Irish (10.8%), English (8.7%), Italian (5.6%) and Scandinavian (3.7%).

You don't have a God, remember. I wasn't referring to that and you know it so nice try at the low blow. From what country did folks load up into a boat and come here?

Germany, if they were Germans, where did you think they loaded up, Australia?

So Germans came here and settled this country? How are you coming up with this? There may have been Germans that came over just like French and etc. but your telling me that the main country represented as settling this country is Germany?

I guess this is a myth?
In the early 1600s approximately 100 travelers set sail aboard the Mayflower in search of a new land. These travelers, commonly called Pilgrims, left England for many reasons. A subset of the Pilgrims was a small group of people known as the Puritans. Together the mainstream Pilgrims and the Separtist Puritans made enormous contributions to American culture. These travelers brought traditions from England that influenced American language, religion, government, and economy. In an effort to understand the valuable contributions of these early settlers, we must examine their lives

P.S. of course I thought it was Australia. Isn't that where Germans are from?

No, it's based on research provided once again by your own country.

Actually they originally set sail on two ships, The Speedwell wasn't seaworthy and had to be abandoned

Do your history lessons not teach you anything other than how great The Republic is?

Well nice going, New York. Statutes of limitations vary from state to state. I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure there is no statue of limitations for violent felonies in Illinois.

Oh...that was a challenge I was supposed to respond to? It just looked to me like more of your usual crap so I figured I'd just let you roll in it and be done with it.

Just wondering though, why haven't you ever stepped in and asked Colin and Rich to "give it a rest"?

If I thought it would make any difference, I would. Generally speaking, though, I don't read their comments (tend to be very repetitive). I happened onto this thread by chance and the word Anglophobe caught my eye. Simple as that.
