Basically, you said that 'Merkin insults to Brits were somehow of a lesser degree than Brits insults to 'Merkins. I pointed out, as a Brit, that a 'Merkin post just a few down from your own was indeed grossly insulting to me. Therefore, your assertion fails. The 'click fingers and you come running' jibe was as disrespectful to my country as 'Bush is a war criminal and all you 'Merkins are lower than snakep*ss' is to yours.

I've read many insulting posts from fellow Brits and I can't say as I've seen any of them that go anywhere near far enough in expressing the revulsion that the US engenders in right-thinking people anywhere in the world. The only consolation, as I see it, is that like the British Empire and the Roman Empire before it, the US empire will itself fall. Let's hope its sometime before the end of the world, eh?
