i copied my database, renamed it and then deleted all the data in the tables. How do i just copy the whole database itself, with all the queries, the design of the forms and all that stuff, just not the data without deleting the data in each table? i have spent hours reading and trying to find out the answer. i was not smart enought to copy it before i started entering 12,000 entries...

Surely you can open each table, ctrl-a to select all the records and press delete? You don't have to select each individual record!

my db was 52 mgs before i deleted 12,000 records and 52 mgs after i deleted them

where does the deleted data go? how do i get rid of it and have a small db again? i clicked on "properties" in "my computer" (i am on windows 98) before i started deleting to see how big it was (52 mg) and i did the same thing after i deleted all the data in the tables... and it still says 52mg. that was why i was hoping there was a way to copy just the structure of the db.

compact your database after deleting
