Newman, AncientOne, Fizzio?

It seems most people leave some explanation when they leave usand every now and then pop in to say hi...I can't seem to find much from them.

Anyone know?

I was wondering about Newman not too long ago myself. Ancient One and Fizzio have both been gone quite a while, haven't they?

No, I don't have any information of where they are. I stopped visiting the site so much when it got very slow to update. However it appears to have picked up again!

Not today it hasn't.

yeah, I really miss those guys. Not that I'm around much either....

I'm pretty sure that Newman was abducted by aliens...

I had wondered about NJudson too...

He hasn't been around lately either.

I'm still alive

Hi everyone!
I've been away for a very long time and I haven't said goodbye when I left. Please excuse me for that.
I had some problems with my company:
Not enough contracts:confused:
So everyone left:(
A few months later, lots of contract again;)
But I am all alone to do all the job:o
Now getting through it:)
Came back to this site, that I forgot about, and found that thread about me(after a search using my nick)

I'm glad to see that some of you were thinking about me while I was gone. Thanks!

I'll start slowly, by reading threads at first, but soon will be posting again.

NB: Rak, I did not setup a business in the UK and expanded in Canada, I set it up in Canada and tried to expand in UK... but got abducted by aliens on my way across the pond.:D

See you soon!

Nice to see you again, Newman!

Lister is another one who used to post a lot, but isn't around any more. Plus Ally, Hayley and Lynsey2... Perhaps the aliens only abduct those with strong sql/vba skills...:D

Hmmm. Had I looked at the earlier threads, I'd have seen that Lister posted today.:o I've obviously not had enough red wine yet!

Comment ça va, Tay?
Ton français est bon?

Je vais tres bien, merci mon ami. Mais, malheuresment, mon francais est merdique. J'essaye, quand meme.

Welcome back Newman. Sorry to hear that your business hasn't gone the way you projected, but apparantly you sort of managed it . There is lots of demand for qualified programmers over here, so maybe move to the wet and low NL ? ;)

Also good to see that there's some more french influence on the board, I'm in the learning curve as well.
After all, honi soit qui mal y pense, n'est ce pas :)

That is very good Tay! As good as my english. Maybe some mistakes here or there, but very understandable. You learned fast! My english is not perfect yet and I been practicing since I was a little kid.

Yes, I'll be back for good. I still have lot of work, and don't need much access help, but will hang around in the watercooler at first, and will give some help later on. That will give me practice for my english to. ;)
Bonne journée!

Bon soir, Newman. Tu es tres sympa! Ton anglaise est magnifique; c'est rare que tu te trompe. En revanche, je me trompe souvente... Je pense que j'ai fait des erreurs deja d'ici, comme d'habitude.:(

Cheers, Newman - I'm pleased that my French wasn't too terrible. Don't put yourself down - your English is really very good! It's great that you'll be hanging around here more too. I hardly ever use Access now, apart from personal use. In fact, I can hardly remember how to use it. I must get into practice again...

Rak, how come you're learning French too? Are you planning to spend more time in France?

I bought a house in the Lot (46) a couple of years ago and intend to move to there when we'll retire. By then I want to more fluent in French than I am right now. My reading is ok, but I certainly have to improve on various topics while having discussions on them.
I hope that one day my neighbour and I can have a decent french conversation about any topic of mutual interest.
