Which Event ?

When you are writing data into a record on a form the icon changes from a triangle to a pencil, when you have finish writing/editing the data the pencil changes back to a triangle. What event is this ? So I can back up the data each time it is changed ?. Is it "On Change" ?

Dirty event is when the triangle turns into the little pencil.

After Update (for the form, not the controls) is when the little pencil turns back into triangle.

However - you may want to use Before Update (again for form, not controls which has those events as well but it's specific to those controls only) which you can do validation and cancel the event by setting "Cancel=True" if you are not ready to save the record.
