I am developing a small app for a client and the main engine will be MS Access with the .mdb on their server - they run SBS2003. There is one admin PC with MS Access on it so I have located the FE there. There are two other people who need to see live information but do not have Access on their systems. Ideally they would be able to update information as well.
Rather than incurring the cost of upgrading them to Office Pro I had wondered whether I could use Data Access Pages to integrate with Sharepoint (although since DAP phased out in ACC2007 might not be too bright a route), or alternatively see if I could create ASP on the company website that would connect to the Access backend so they could simply use IE.
Rather than reinvent wheels I wondered if any of you guys had done anything similar and if so, which was the easiest and/or most effective.
Look forward to seeing if a solution is within my reach.
Thanks and best wishes
Malcy
