Who's exercising more?

Isn't it funny? Almost no matter what the starting topic on this site, it seems to inexorably find it's way back to football.

That's because it's popular:cool::p

According to FIFA, the most popular sport in the world.
If you look at the TV numbers for World Cup, under 21 etc. They're probably right.

UP THE GUNNERS!!!

I went for a lovely walk yesterday to this place...

First bit of proper exercise since the start of winter. :o

The female is the clever one, you get there sooner so have to a) put on the kettle b) make the tea etc etc whilst she 'struggles' up the stairs.

:D Yes! And I certainly am 'struggling' up stairs regularly now. How much do unborn babies/placentas/amniotic fluid weigh? Because I'm really noticing the extra weight I'm having to carry around, and it will only get worse.

I took the stairs a lot when I was pregnant to try to keep from gaining too much weight. It worked too, although it was really hard. But I lost all the weight from my second baby within a few weeks. However, I still have a few more pounds to lose that I never got rid of after the first baby. :(

By the way, congrats on the pregnancy. I didn't know. :D

Congrats Tay, are you still a student in Newcastle, I noticed your location still says France?

Brian

Congrats Tay, 1 down, four more to go?:D

 4 more?!?!?!?!? We weren't expecting 1, let alone more!

Yes, we're still students in Newcastle - and will be for the next 2 and a half years. I suppose I should get around to changing my profile location.

So how does the baby fit in then? is there a creche at uni? or are you going to give up being a student and bring up the baby?

Or is the baby going to be brought up by someone else?

Cindy - How do you know it's the first baby weight you still have? it could be that you have lost that and have a residue from the 2nd one.

There is a creche at uni, but only staff are allowed to use it. So, we'll either have to deposit Pi (who will be renamed when born!) at a nursery or with a childminder during the day. Although, last night's Whistleblower on BBC1 was quite scary. Giving up being a student isn't really an option - we've put off studying for too long anyway. If we don't continue now and get our degrees, we'll never do it.

Yes, that occurs more than is reported - I wouldn't trust my child to strangers, they don't give a toss, then the kid grows up confused and brainwashed.

Why bother? Surely you don't you plan on working too after the birth?
