Adam is no longer with us and yet he STILL invites comments and repercussions over his inability to recognize altruism in action.

I'm not a moderator or admin, but I think this thread ought to be closed so we can move on in the post-Adam era.

Just to add, I agree with the very positive comments made by Surrey Nick.
Many of us give away a lot of code both as payback for help we've received in the past and to encourage other users to explore the possibilities of Access

I do also sell some software and in certain cases, clients have made purchases as a follow up to free applications of mine they had previously downloaded. Occasionally I get very generous donations to my website in gratitude for free applications or code samples. That's great but its a bonus rather than an expectation.

If anyone wishes to carry on this conversation, please do start a new thread
