Why is the post shown time is off?

maybe is the time of a different region instead of the pacific eastern time?

You have to tell the forum your time zone in User CP/Edit Options.

Ok thanks, I am in New York, would the Eastern Time (US and Canada) Bogota, Lima work

Or should I choose,

Pacific Time, (US & Canada) work?


And when other members post, would their post be in my time region or in theirs, because if is in their time region then it doesn't show accurate time stamp of their post when I see it.

Try eastern; pacific is 3 hours earlier. All posts will be shown in the user's chosen time zone. In other words, I will see this post as being made at 9:00, you will see it as being made at 12:00.
