Perhaps worth mentioning: MSFT acknowledged a bug and will fix it:

The problem occurs when you try to add more than 3 conditions, and there are spaces in the expression for any of the first 3 conditions.
If you remove the spaces (e.g. change "[FieldName]= 'value' " to "[FieldName]='value'"), then you won’t hit the problem. There might be other things that could trigger the problem as well besides spaces in the expression. The problem does not occur above the first 3 conditions.
