write vertical in forms / report (1 Viewer)

I know about the option write vertical.

my problem that I cant to work with it.

for example I want write in the verical filed JUN 2005

and in all the other filed write Horizontal
is it possible?

if some one can printscreen of a report that seems to what I look for
it will help me alot.


other stupid question:
can I see in this forum just my question

Simple answer; No. Your vertical text boxes span over multiple detail or grouped areas; this isn't possible to recreate in Access.

Sorry, I have no idea, I've never used VB.net. It may be possible in something like Crystal Reports, I understand that has more advanced report generation than Access.

sorry to disagree with reclusive monkey, but i think maybe you can accomplish this by setting up a subform to the right of your vertical text, grouping the report by the month and linking the subform - you'll probably want to add at least one datepart field to your query though - i don't know how to get the text to read up, rather than down though (i normally work in 97 which doesn't have vertical) - playing with read left to right didn't seem to work though - jim

LOL No, please do Jim, I think you could be right. You would have to have a subform within a subform to get it I think but that should work...
