I wondered teh kind of vote Romney would get in teh UK - I didnt think it would be much - BBC had Obama at 90%+ - considering we have right /centre coalition in power here that is quite strinking, how out of kilter Romneys views are with the over whelming majority of the UK.

This story seems to suggest that would be true in many many other places too. 87% or germans, 67% of French would be with Obama.

I cant make out Ken - if you being first to respond is indicative of you being one of the most insular and isolated or one of the least.

East in its self is vague its just a direction - I went east this morning to work.

Whats contemptuous about it? ITs just a discussion on whether the republican view is insular and isolated. Stats seem to show its fairly isolated. You said you were insular in view - on teh guns thread. Now you say you have been east.

So I have a real interest in where you have been East, and a real desire to know how insular you are, I owuld guess most American havent travelled to China for instance.

I have heard paranoia is a republican trait. ;-)
