InputBox will not display

NO matter what I do I can't get the InputBox to work

  NewEmailAddress = InputBox("There is no Client Email Address on file would you like to enter one?", "Information Required")

any suggest - It just won't display or stop at the above comand

Actually, I am curious as to what some people seem to know that the rest of us underlings have not found out yet. If there is a crash course available (dummies style of course), I am sure it could turn out to be useful.
