Sean Connery

Sad day, I really enjoyed his movies.

What is weird is the film The longest Day :-

was on UK TV just a few days ago and a very young looking Sean Connery was in that film.

His humour and presence Shone out.

As a kid, I would always wonder why my grandparents, parents, even the news would make such a big deal about celebrities dying - they didn't even know them!

Now that I am 55, hearing about the passing of someone who was alive all my life and offered entertainment, and added value to my existance,it gives me a new perspective on things. Namely, my own mortality...

Carpe Diem!!

We are the same age and my own mortality is front and centre.

I am not sad for the passing of Sean, he lived a rich and full life with style and grace. Well done!

He had a good career, was recognized by many actors as a good craftsman in his field, and entertained a lot of people. That is a worthy legacy for anyone, I think. R.I.P., Sean Connery.

One does not need to idolize someone to enjoy their work, Adam. GIVE IT A BREAK. Or give US a break. Sheesh!

You are hijacking the thread by following this line. I might not ban you, but I might remove your answer. That is a VERY bad habit you have, Adam.
But I'm merely offering a comment this time. I have taken no action yet.
