And I am so tired of hearing the ONLY thing libs can possibly come up with to explain all of this is, "2 wrongs don't make a right" (their answer to the whole selective prosecution obviousness).

No, 2 wrongs don't make a right, but selective prosecution DOES make a wrong.

It really flabbergasts me how far they want to push some of this stuff. They couldn't just be happy with the welfare state they created around the time I was born. They couldn't be happy with laws and cultural shifts that eliminated people with alternative lives/identities from being actually mistreated. They couldn't be happy with a ton of immigration pouring in for decades.

They just HAD to push it so far. How quickly it went from "Just live and let live, and let everyone believe what they want", or "make sure the laws provide equal opportunity for everyone", to............."Everyone must bow down and verbally assent to this belief or that belief", and "the government will forcibly restribute results and consequences so that personal choice means nothing".

If peace seems elusive, I'd say it's definitely not the fault of those on the right-er side of the equation.

Starting with Obama you were condemned by the Democrats if you spoke of Islamic extremism or were designated as racist for saying Covid came from China. Furthermore, for all the humanitarian word-salad that Democrats profess, they never acknowledge the persecution of Christians and women in Islamic countries. This story reinforces the narrative that for the Democrats, the victim is the trans person not the people who were killed by the trans person.

The other day he was talking about how this person, some California educator who is Muslim, was claiming in some University speech that Muslims gave women the right to vote a long time ago. He was like "right to vote? what are you talking about - the Koran says that if 2 competing people for a caliphate, you cut the head off of the one" - etc., quoting from Koran and Koran teaching. I'm not remembering the details precisely, but it was along those lines.

He often warns that popular Muslim feminist intellectuals in the USA try very hard to sell people an idea of Islam that just isn't real for almost any Muslims, and certainly not as taught in the Koran. Just complete and total lies, in some cases laughably the opposite of true and not even close or a matter of interpretation. Americans will believe anything!

I just read a hilarious sentence on msnbc. I swear to god, it's like these people don't even hear the words that are coming out of their mouth.

MSNBC I find to be particularly high quality amusement, because it's not only radically left-wing but the writing quality is that of a 12 year old. They also struggle to come up with new stories and typically repeat the same headlines for weeks at a time.

Anyway, here is an author attempting to be persuasive in suggesting that Republicans have already concluded that the president is innocent.

Republicans have settled on a conclusion — the corrupt former president is pure as the driven snow — and they’re working backwards to justify their loyalty.

Never mind that they never seem to notice the first half of the sentence is a mirror image of what they're accusing the other side of. Just really made me laugh out loud
