A possible scenario of the next 2 years

Fox News and CNN are two independent news channels. CNN does stand for Cable News Network, but it should not be conflated to being a source to see all news on cable. Fox News is evidently available on-line. Link --->: https://www.foxnews.com/go. I suspect that you would have to pay for it, You may also be able to get Fox News through Roku. We get Fox News as part of HULU of our subscription, which you may also be able to subscribe to.
But Pat said Fox news is Cable News Network. Is that not CNN?

I'm afraid I don't understand what that yellow man means. Who is it?

Col

Whoa, I almost let myself get drawn in. All I can say is:

I'm guessing that the yellow deformed man is a comedy cartoon. American of course, laughing at deformed people is American humour. I can honestly say, Absolute truth I have never seen it on TV.
Anyway, back to the discussion. Why did Pat say Fox was CNN?
Col

Anyway, Fox news isn't even owned by an American, its owned by an Australian. So I suspect it reflects his political preferences, a bit like the British newspapers he owns.

Wow, what next Col discovers George Soros?

Just kidding your doing great! :D

Have I misquoted you before then?
Col
Hmm, as expected, no reply to my question.
Anyway, I read your statement as meaning Fox was a Cable News Network- in other words, part of the CNN company. Perhaps it may help if you make statements with one interpretation to avoid confusion. (Now there's a nice invitation for you!)

One misleading thing the fake news is doing today - trying hard to emphasize, exclusively, the term "misdemeanor" when covering Hunter Biden's criminal case status.

See what I mean? It's not about stating patently false facts as much as it is deceptively painting half-pictures. MSNBC is the one I am thinking of today.

Hunter's receiving every benefit of the doubt from the media and the DOJ, the fix is in.

I think what the Bidens are doing right now is obvious: They're negotiating. Indirectly. Assumed, unspoken.

Please, please, PLEASE accept Hunter's small punishment and let us go for major bribery and corruption that could put us all away for life!

Ha ha ha. Hunter's lie on the gun form was never what anyone cared about IMHO. Cared about as an example of a two tiered justice system, sure, somewhat, but we all knew that wasn't the main substance of what Biden's been involved in.

Joe Biden is shadier than tinted windows

I'm curious what the Democrats' next move will be.

The evidence about bribery and corruption is getting pretty strong at this point. Some of us always thought it was strong since the laptop came out, but reasonable people could exist on both sides of that. It's slowly changing. Reasonable people are mostly seeing pretty strong evidence of millions flowing into the Biden family, with obviously Joe as the driver of that as he was the only one with the power to sell in the first place, it would be unreasonable to think he wasn't the driver and beneficiary of that in significant part.

The tax form is credible. The witness is credible, there is already un-eraseable evidence on the laptop, many copies now out.
The witness'es credibility is something the FBI won't be able to try to undermine at the last minute, as there is plenty of evidence they have used them for years and paid them well.

So what will the Dem's next move be? Arresting DeSantis is something they dream & drool about, I believe, but indictment in Florida will be tough and extradition will be tougher. Is that where actual conflict breaks out??

Putting Trump away shouldn't even be their biggest priority, because even if they do, the field of Republican candidates is perhaps the strongest it's ever been. Plenty of younger, well spoken, disciplined people with broad speaking appeal and skills, most of them untarnished.

So what will their next move be? I won't pretend politics doesn't fascinate me to some extent. I'm not a gambler but if I was, some kind of very intelligently-organized betting pool on both sides' moves would be interesting to me..

Take out Biden and play race games with Kamala? Just a guess.

that's actually a pretty safe bet. when all else fails, they will go back to "Race" over and over until the end of all time, or so it seems.

when we stop allowing bizarre theories of imagined victimization to be taught at colleges, we will stop raising young people whose natural human addiction to laying blame on others for their life is enabled....and when that is done, they will start to actually ENJOY the sensation of being responsible for their own life, as humans have enjoyed for thousands of years, and when that happens, the Democrats whole platform of "people are being mean to you and that is why you don't have ___ and we will save you very soon!" will start to lose all appeal.

will take time, gradual process..

Hmm. Or, maybe some day a whole generation of minorities will wake up and realize "Hey. Democrats were actually the party of slavery, and have their decades of government hand outs have done absolutely nothing to improve our lot in life. Maybe it's time for a paradigm shift in thinking".

And frankly I understand. In my own mind, I've noticed that at times there has been a temptation for me to just be angry at Asians.
"Another darn Asian, winning the contest/diploma/invention/grades/success".
But that temptation, of course, is wrong. I know full well why they won/succeeded/finished/were first: Because they worked their butts off.

My kids used to go to a charter-ish school when younger that had many, many asians in it. Their secret was not so secret - their parents had them studying 28 hours a day!

I wouldn't go that far, but their success is no mystery, it's self-directed.

Let's hope their grasp of time is a little more accurate. Unless of course they are working to some weird foreign calendar.
