10,000 feet (I think)

High enough to hurt if it goes wrong by the looks of it.
I take it you survived

no helmet?

Or is it pink?
Hard as my head is, its optional!

I take it you survived
For now. There was a split-second of doubt when that door opened but there was no going back. We rode our bikes there so it was dark riding back. Doing the twisty's and dodging the wildlife was almost as spooky as the jump. I was wore out by the time we hit the sack that night(morning).

Awesome day...

This mid life crisis shit is hitting you hard.

Congrats and a summary of the event from my personal "chhhat gptt" (y) ;)

John (NG) was really high on his 58th birthday!

Happy Birthday and I am in awe of your sky jumping. I have always wanted to do that. I would also plan to do it in tandem with an expert and I believe I wouldn't have a heart attack as long as I took a xanax an hour beforehand. Would love to may I ask how much it cost and what the preparations were if any?

Where I went there are different packages you can buy. The base line is about 250 and can go as high as 400 (sunset, pics, video) . Only precautions is weight gotta be under 220 or you are too heavy for the harness

Crap. I'm a ways over 220. I'm getting like oprah. I shrunk down to <220 last year but ballooned back up.

Did that weight limit seem like a pretty across-the-board common one? Or would they just have switched the harness to a fat people's harness or somethign? LOL

It's a total weight thing so if your combined weight is under a the max then it can vary...

That explains that diet a few months ago.
There is some truth to that. Once I got under 200, I figured I had better do this before the weight comes back.

Fat never sleeps, it lurks in the dark and lulls you into a false sense of security...and one day you wake up looking like a busted can o' biscuits, with no idea how it happened...
