Show me the jury and then maybe maybe it's a little bit legit. This was just one random judge deciding all this. Totally meaningless

Totally bogus decision by a grossly ignorant judge who does not understand real-estate and is consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)

A Fact. At the begining of this trial the crack Trump leagle team turned down a jury trial.

Former President Trump has repeatedly complained about the lack of a jury in his New York civil fraud trial, but his own legal team appears to have failed to request one.

Why it matters: Trump has claimed it's "unfair" that the judge in the case opted for a bench trial, without a jury. But the court docket shows that while Attorney General Letitia James filed a document requesting a bench trial, Trump's lawyers never filed any corresponding document requesting a jury.

Hope you doubled your recuring monthly donations. He's gonna need it.

I'm curious as to when the "winning winning, your gonna get tired of winning" starts.

Why? It's going to be appealed. Most of these cases are not legally sound, they are designed to slow the dynamo.
However, he has to put up 120% of the judgement as a bond before he can appeal. He is not a good businessman. On top of that, he cheats at golf, like he cheats at everything else in his life. He like a lead character in a Shaksperien play.

You also know the prosecutor prejudice this case back in 2017-2018, it's going to be overturned.
But there are the federal cases, plus all those policeman in DC that are suing him for Jan 6th. Look at what Juliani got. Trump may be in court for the rest of his life. HIs only hope is to win in November, and the odds of that are shrinking daily. He put himself in jeopardy the minute he went down that escalator. Presidents are always scrutinized, but no other has had the Donalds luggage. If he was the genius he says he is, he would have known that, but his ego will be his undoing. What has he won since 2016? Zip.

Before he can appeal he has to put up 120% of the judgement to the court as a bond. That is the law. No bond, no appeal. He gets crappy lawyers because he has stiffed so many in the past. Lawyers I know call representing Trump a "Suicide Mission". Trump is right about one thing, if he had never run for President, none of this would have happened.

This. Trump is a billionaire and he is not a good businessman. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
First he inherited $413,000,000 from his fathers death. He did build Trump tower and developed opther buildings. But, he got into the casino busines and:

The six bankruptcies were the result of over-leveraged hotel and casino businesses in Atlantic City and New York: Trump Taj Mahal (1991), Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino (1992), Plaza Hotel (1992), Trump Castle Hotel and Casino (1992), Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts (2004), and Trump Entertainment Resorts (2009).

In the States, if you open a casino and it doesent make money you're considered an idiot.

He tried to start an airline, which failed

He bought a professional football team and the league failed

He started Trump University, where nobody learned anything, so he had to compensate the people he swindled with a$25 million judgement.

He started a Trump Urine test company, which failed.

On top of that he has ruined the lives of untold numbers of people the he has sued or stiffed.

He claims that he is smarter the everyone else, did excedingly well in college, but he has threated Whorton with a massive law suit if they make his grades available.

He is a draft dodger. He won't release the records that show he had bone spurs

And most personal to me, he cheats at golf. He always Tees off first and will only ride a cart by himself, and as soon as he hits he takes off in his cart. One verified account, he hit a ball into a lake, but when every else cought up tp him his ball was in the middle of the fairway. I played a lot of golf and knew a couple of tour players that told me that Trump so riund the Blue Course at Doral that they cancelled the Eaastern Open that was played there evedry year.

Jon, where would you be today if $413 was dropped in you lap, His problem is that he could have just gone along doing what he was doing, but when you become President you are in the cold light of day, and under a lot of scruntiny.

Over 20 years ago I had retired early and became a Real Estate broker and was working with a big residential developer. Back then I was using GIS to evalutae land for development. The developer asked me if other developers wanted me to do stuff for them. I said a couple, but I wasn't interested, He then said this " If anyone from the Trump organization contacts you, make sure you get all your money up front because Trump stiffs people all the time". That was over 20 years ago

I could spend the better part of a morning documenting his failures and his blatant lies. He is the most litigious man in America, ans as I have said, he will be spending the rest of his life in a court room. BTW, nobody know how much money he really has, but with this latest judgement to person put in charge of his businesses has to make that publc via the court.

Please excuse my typo's, I have a new keyboard and am not used to it yet.

Next time you go to one of those fantastic pubs in England, hoist one for me.

Certainly, $413M is not to be sniffed at. But he still turned it into billions. You don't do that being poor at business. The only people who fail are those who fail to try anything. It is a bit like saying that a salesman failed to sell 1,000 times but that comes with the territory. It doesn't mean to say you are bad salesman. The worst salesman is the person who doesn't try to sell anything in fear of losing a sale. They never sell anything.

The developer may have their opinion but that doesn't mean it is the truth. You have the vast majority of Democrats thinking Trump was guilty of Russia collusion but we all know what a hoax that was. There are some who still think it is true, like Adam Schiff.

If you are an idiot for failing with a casino business, if it is that easy aren't all those who don't open one idiots? I think it is naive to think anything in business is easy. There are a lot of moving parts. Also, bear in mind that Trump has lots of businesses and opening new ones frequently. It is not like the casino was his only business and therefore getting his undivided attention. Trump is very well diversified.

Regarding all Trump's lawsuits, do you think it is any coincidence that he is hit with 100 odd crimes in his campaign year, despite not having had this level of lawfare in his previous 77 years? Or you just think it is a coincidence?

I used to go to a British pub every night when I was younger, but rarely go nowadays. It is a big embedded part of the culture though. Not sure how these pubs differ to the bars in the US.

As a professional real estate person, you should be able to comprehend that this case against Trump is totally fanciful. Real estate values are subjective and involve several layers of professionals who make their best guess-estimates as to the value of the property. It is a partisan third world hit-job. Recall "Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime."

He is a draft dodger.
Biden was a draft dodger.

PS: And as usual Democrats in their fevered fanaticism to get Trump don't comprehend the long term consequences of what they have unleashed.
... other corporations based in the Empire State may realize they could suddenly be put out of business by the state on a political whim. (emphasis added)

Considering the case was brought in 2022, I'd love to hear an explanation.
Back in 2017-2018 is when Letitia James was running for AG. She started running her mouth about Donald Trump being a illegitimate president and a criminal.

It wasn't just her personal opinion, she raised money and made it her personal mission to get Trump, long before seeing any evidence.

Arthur F. Engoron we all know he's a joke, he's an embarrassment to the bench. His fine has no basis in law. It's an arbitrary number he thought would be enough to bankrupt Trump.

It's all political and obvious, and shows democrats are desperate and can't win in a fair fight, they have to cheat.
