I keep trying to watch bits of the video in between work but the AWF webpage re-sets the Play button from zero each few minute :(

Anyway, pretty interesting so far! Oh, for the olden days, when everyone was named Mark, Dave and Dave. I think half the people in that video are named Dave.
I also liked the bird feeder, almost made me want to try my hand at making a decorative bird feeder!

Free speech is under attack in Canada too. Jordan Peterson reacts

I particularly like "There is a House" because me and some mates drunk in a car, (one lad had a guitar) sung the most fantastic rendition of it .. Bear in mind we were all drunk, and in reality it was probably terrible!

Sometimes, the most memorable musical experiences happen in unexpected places and under unusual circumstances! Sometimes, the most memorable musical experiences happen in unexpected places and under unusual circumstances!

See the skill, the work that went into A Fist full of Dollars theme tune:-

A very eclectic collection of musicians with non-standard orchestral instruments and a chorus that handles unusual scoring.

But then, Ennio Morricone was notorious for music that fell a little bit "out of the box." Over the years he has won quite a few awards, not only the USA Academy but several overseas organizations.

And I didn't catch this immediately but that is actually the theme from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." The theme from "A Fistful of Dollars" has similar instrumentation & style but is a different melody.

Question, why is it so common for people to say someone or something is misogynist, but so rare that you would ever hear the same accusation of being misandrist? In fact most people have never even heard that word in my experience, as I test it out some times. We all know there are plenty of man-hating women out there who will unload a torrent of ranting about how awful men are if given a chance, why are we so classy as men and we don't go around bitterly pointing it out? (well except me here - LOL!) I think there is a lot of misandry out there, especially I've seen it in female judges. If a woman slaps a man, "well you forgot your anniversary, so you deserve it". If a man slaps a woman, it's a year in jail and a felony conviction.

Dave Allen's shows were always worth watching.
It's a pity that he refused to allow them to be repeated. So except for odd internet snippets, that's all that's left.

Check this out—a chap named Fizeau measured the speed of light 176 years ago with this toothed wheel setup! The gear he used, spinning to chop up light beams and bounce them over miles—absolute genius!

The video of a wheel with 720 teeth, whirring at speed, and a mirror 8.6 kilometers away to clock the light zipping back. 1849, and he got it to 313,000 km/s—pretty darn close to today’s number!

Mind blown.

@UG do you have horses like your avatar shows?

That's a chance encounter with an inquisitive horse! I was out on a countryside walk with my daughter and she took that picture! The horse joined us and followed me, across the field. Placing its head on my shoulder on one occasion.
That's really cool. I like horses
