The views and understanding of the Royal Family in the USA is certainly at odds with opinion in Britain.
The way it is seen in England is that Harry, along with all Royals are/were treated very well and living the life of a man of means. The Royals lack for nothing and live cosseted and exclusive lives of entitlement, with basically every demand appeased.
Harry didn't appear to have any problem with the Royal Family until Megan appeared and took control of him. Maybe he was consumed in avarice towards William due to his entitlement to the throne? If so it was totally pointless, timewasting an he will have been counselled against that anyway.
Megan it is thought, imagined herself as becoming the second Diana. But you cannot demand, or expect respect without earning it. Well not in England. Anyway, was she not an obsessive Royal fan before meeting Harry? Her position in the Royal hierarchy was much lower than she thought it would be and that didn't go down well apparently. We understand there were unnecessary attacks on Royal staff, with some resigning. Megan allegedly had/has a problem curtsying to other Royals. Her sister in law particularly so. And allegedly to even the Queen herself, as shown in Megan's sarcastic demonstration. If Harry has a problem, it is his problem and for him to fix it. Maybe we have to wait for his lightbulb moment?
It is thought here that the Royals have been reticent in speaking to the Markle's due to their tendency to repeat conversations, not always correctly. In fact it is considered that repeating a private conversation with a senior Royal is something you simply do not do. Plus, the Markle's tend to drag Netflix cameras and microphones around with them. The result is their reluctance in discussing important matters with the Markle's. The Royals will not enter into public conflict with any of the "he said, she said" Markle nonsense. In fact the nearest to giving an opinion publicly, was when the Queen was asked about some of Megan's outbursts. Her simple put-down response was: "Recollections vary."
The Royals cannot and will not kowtow to Megan's demands. Over centuries they have learned to cope with this type imagined entitlement. A few hundred years ago she'd have ended up in the Tower for less. I'll go with the Duke of Edinburgh's assessment of Megan.
