I don't misquote posts deliberately, thats an American failing. Although obviously when English is not the posters first language, it can be difficult to interpret what they are saying.

I would appreciate some examples of my misquotes please. I am not aware of any deliberate ones.

So now you have yet another excuse for doing nothing. Except of course to point out spelling or gramatical errors.
Very gratifying to the ego of course but not a very practical course of action.
What action will you be taking to deal with the original problem in this thread?

Weigh up the various options. Have a tea and a fag. Think about the consequencies of the options. Discuss with others. Have another tea and a fag. Make and educated and informed decision based on the facts available at the time.

Then act on it.

Simple really.

considering half the people carrying these knives are not from this country we should get the police to comb the streets. If theyre caught with a knife & foreign.. send them back. If they are british, send them to australia.

Bring in a system of oppression i dont care i dont break the law but its about time the police started cracking some eggs. If you're caught with a nife you lose a finger. Caught 2nd time with a knife you loose a hand, caught 3rd time with a knife you loose your child benefits.

Yeah, and next ban making a fist. If you're actually holding something where your hand may look like a fist and not intending to hit somebody you could apply for a 20 minute (+-) variance. And if you make a fist while your hand is in your pocket you should be locked up for making a concealed fist
 
then we can tackle bad language... that deserves a strangling at least!
 
And if you say a bad word to yourself, say under your breath because you hit your finger with a hammer, as long as you come forward, you will only get probation.

We seem to have raised an interesting generation of children.
The first words spoken are no longer mama or dada but nanny or the name of the worker at the day care. Followed closely by mine and I want. Followed closly by f&#k and a$$hole.

Most of the self absorbed self centred parents who had them seem suprized when they go bad. I don't know why. They see them so seldom they can't remember their names. After all, both parents have to work 18 hours a day and weekends so they can afford a BMW instead of a Ford.

Any attempt at discipline (and I'm NOT talking spanking here) is met by a horde of social workers telling the parents how cruel and inhuman they are.

Any attempt at discipline at school is met by a lawsuit. Is it any suprize so many school graduates are illiterate. The school has no way to force them to learn anything.

They enter the real world with no personal skills, no job skills, foul mouths and bad attitudes.

Society is reaping what it has sown.
