Reminds me of a school playground where one who gets elected to post of a prefect decides to throw his weight around then leaves but gets his mates to carry on his good work in his absence, it stinks!

Why does it always come down to American versus British? Why do we hold it against the entire nation because we don't like one person of that nationality? How come we don't have arguments between SQL guru's and Access guru's? Could it be because they both do more or less the same thing and decend from more or less the same lineage?

Because some of us used to enjoy the company this section of the forum presented, before this ridiculous bitch and moan fest took over.

I don't really work in Access anymore, but it doesn't mean I don't appreciate the friends I've made here, including Colin and you. The years have passed, and look where we are today. 5-6 years ago, we would still be joking around.

That's when there were either no mods or they stuck to dealing with spam instead of issuing banning orders etc, but then that was before the site was changed into an offshoot of UA

People who get offended and people who think forum decorum is important should simply stay out of the Watercooler and Political forum.

When Bob banned Rich and myself it was Watercooler/Political forums. Which illustrates that Bob should never be in this type of forum.

Locking the other thread is silly. After a while the people who keep such threads going, that is, the posters who believe in forum decorum but love keeping non decorum threads alive and well...get bored and wait for the next opportunity etc.
