Hi Guys,
we have a system to enter data and print data. now to secure the database, I have created an autoexec macro that runs at startup and check if the user is me.
If its is, it will enable the bypass key so that the user (myself) can view the design view of the code else it will disable it.

No here the problem. its works everywhere but recently i had send it to another county to work and now it doesnt work. If its possible that the IT Administrator disabled the MACROs from loading.

need help here and quick

Have you actually asked the chap if they did indeed disable the macros? First point of call I would have thought.

Well he is just the user . I don't really know who set it up on his PC..

but i figured this was something someone good at macros would be able to figure, out why im getting this error.

Anyways, i used to get this error when i send this same system home to use it on my MS access 2007 (One i have at work is 2003).

But let me ask him some questions on whether he did actually get some message on his newly installed MSAccess to disable any code. let see, you may actually have a good point.

But do you have any other good reason how this could be working out.

is there any way to keep these kind of messages from ever displaying like a before Autoexec Macro run code.
