I am designing a form in 2010. I was looking for the namtive web browser control and can't seem to locate it.
All I can find is the ActiveX control, but I want to use the Native control.

Anyone know where it is and how I can place it on my form?

Thanks in advance.

It is located to the right of the Hyperlink control in the Controls section of the Design tab.

jdraw,

Sorry, I did not mean to be trivial in my initial response. I was afraid that it was just not showing up. It shows in my 2010 Access installation. I have no idea why you would not see that control.

If I hear anything about it, I will get back to you.

I didn't know where to look, and just started with 2010,
I did do some searching after your post and saw, as you said, in a youtube video the missing control. Still have no idea why it isn't in my list.

I'll be watching for any info you may find.
Thanks.

The only way that I was able to recreate what you are seeing in the ribbon menu was to open an Access file with a .mdb extension and then attempt to edit a form. The native web control icon was not visible on the menu.

I am designing a form in 2010.

You did not say that the file was created with 2010. I would try creating a new file in 2010 and then see if the Icon for the native web control is available. If so then just import the objects from the other file into the new file.

I am using 2010, seems to be the Blank Database or a save database format. That was it, the default was set to Blank database in 2000-2003 format. As soon as I changed to a new blank database in 2007 format the control is there.

Now I 'm off to do a little testing.
Thanks.
