A2010 ole object file

I have a map that I copied in a jpeg, pasted into paint, saved as a bitmap, insert into a A2010 ole object file. When I open it windows photo viewer it look pretty good, but when it comes up in the db it loses a lot of resolution. I have tried using a jpeg but the db just shows a icon. What would be a better method that what I am using?

Don't use OLE use the Image Control instead and I will ask for the File location.

That's the same basic question I asked somewhere else and didn't get a clear answer. How do I ask for a file location? If I can hi-jack this blog.

When you add an image control to a form it will prompt you to select the image file. If you already have an image control on your form that doesn't have an associated image file, open the properties for the image control, select the Format tab then click the ellipse (...) to the right of the Picture property and select the picture file you want.

I think Dick and I are on a different page. I was trying to have the specific picture of the employee tied to his record. Sorry for not being clear.

If the image Related to the EmployeeID then the image s/b EmpoyeeID & ".jpg". You need to first specifiy the full directory path and then the image file. You maybe asked for a file but ignore that.
