Hi
yes, I have been away from this forum for some time - time flies is really apt here. I have just purchased a new fast-lots-of-ram pc - the last one my wife says!!!, so I decided to update to windows 8 and office/access 2013. I was looking for the access visual basic language reference which is so easy to find on windows xp and vista - but not on windows 8; any help here would be appreciated. I am also having a few problems with windows 8 itself - but that's another story.

regards

Ron

I had the same feeling when I saw Windows 8. It appears that a lot of folks have folks have a similar opinions. I've been putting off buying a new laptop because all of the new machines come with Windows 8.

It occurred to me that I could wipe Windows 8 off of the machine, and replace it with Windows 7 Professional. I 've been warned not to try the Windows retrograde trick because it will cause problems. I have discovered that for a little more money, most PC manufacturers will sell you a new machine loaded with Windows 7.

thanks for your thoughts, but with respect, I did not intend this thread to be about windows 8. I just would like to find the visual basic language reference

regards

Ron
